Our Policies

Price and availability:

Prices are indicated in Canadian dollars. We attempt to ensure availability on all our products, however we cannot guarantee availability due to the “one of a kind” nature of our garments. Yarn blends, specific vintage beads etc. may not be available at the time of ordering. In the event that your chosen item is not available as indicated on the webpage, we will inform you as soon as possible.  You may purchase another item or cancel your order. In the event of a payment by certified check or money order, we will reimburse you for your unavailable order or the difference in costs between the original order and the alternate selection.

Custom orders:

Earth Art Cashmere & Design will make effort to provide the desired colour of any custom garment order. However, as all fibre is hand-dyed, slight variation in color may occur. Beads will be chosen by Earth Art Cashmere and Design based on availability and best matches.
No alterations to any order will be processed without the client having been informed of the changes via e-mail or otherwise in writing. The quantity of yarn required for the custom ordered garment will be established by the pattern. Where the client wishes to increase the size or recommended yarn quantity within a garment, the client will be required to pay the price difference as established by Earth Art Cashmere & Design.
Custom orders require a non-refundable upfront payment of 50% of the total price of the order.

Shipping:

Products are under our responsibility until they are delivered to the shipper. Times required for delivery are:

In-stock orders: Your order will be shipped within 48 hrs of its receipt. Delivery is usually via UPS but regular mail may also be used. Once the order leaves Earth Art Cashmere & Design Farm the responsibility for its delivery and its condition is that of the shipper.

Custom orders: Delivery times will be established at the time of order, but are typically four-six weeks. Other factors affecting delivery times may include, but not be limited to, shipper delays, customs delays and availability of specific dyes or fibre blends. Pattern availability and orders of particular complexity may also affect delivery times. Your order will be shipped within 48 hrs of our receiving it from our knitters.
 

Times required for delivery are given as an indication and could be slightly different in periods of high demand. Be assured that we will however do our very best to avoid any time delays and satisfy all our customers.

Earth Art Cashmere & Design reserves the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom it has a dispute concerning a current or prior order.

Earth Art Cashmere & Design cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect consequences of the cancellation of an order or a delay in the delivery for any reasons whatsoever, in particular in the event of a strike of the postal services or transports in general. The times for delivery are given as an indication only and should they be longer, this is not a valid reason to claim damages, refuse delivery or cancel the order.

Secure payment and methods of payment:

Any transaction is completely confidential. We use PayPal payment systems available on the Internet. Your credit card details are never kept on our website. Your credit card is debited at the time of the secured transaction in Canadian dollars.
You can pay online with your credit or debit card.
Other than PayPal orders we can only accept Canadian money orders and certified cheques. All certified cheques and money orders must clear our bank security services before your order is shipped. The order number should be indicated on the back of the cheque. Cheques should be addressed and sent to:
